Rick brought Tiger home when he was 10 weeks old.
I heard a meowing in the basement and guess what I had found. I was not to happy at first as had never had a cat but he was
so cute and so little and we soon fell in love with him.He is a purebred white Persian male cat with gold eyes.
He likes to keep to himself and is not to playful
with the kids. He loves to look out the window and he sits by the fridge and meows every chance he gets for milk!! If you
drop a bread tie on the floor he goes crazy and will growl at you if you try to take it away.At Christmas we would always
wrap up cat nip and he would sit by it or on it and put little teeth bites in the package so by Christmas there was not much
left of it.Tiger is a house cat and has never been outside except to go to the vet.
He used to chase Dusty around so I guess you could
say he was the boss! He does not seem to like Scooby but hopefully will come around. He does sit and bat Scooby back
and forth in the face.Scooby just sits there until he gets tired of it and walks away. Tiger was born on Aug 25 1990 and came to us on Oct 18 1990. The last few weeks we had him with us he
was not eating much and sleeping a lot. We just thought it was nothing and just part of getting older. On May 2nd he started
having trouble breathing and we took him to the emergency vet. They took a x-ray and said his chest was full of fluid. They
tried to drain as much as possible and then put him on meds and we went home. On May 3rd he was not a lot better and not eating.I
tried to give him a little milk, which he loves, and he just walked away. We found him downstairs under the kids toy construction site,he
had never been under there, it was like he was hiding. I took him to his regular vet and we discussed our options. He
said his chest was very full and he was very sick. At this point we deceided not to put him through any more tests,as they
said there was a very slim chance they could help him and even then it would be short term. I sat with him while he
"left" us.It was 9:30 in the morning.Walking out and leaving him there was so hard.I would never have thought I
would lose him this fast. My beautiful white kitty! It is so hard to believe that he is gone. He was always just
hanging around some where. Even at the end he greeted me that morning by jumping up on the bed and meowing and
patting me to get up. My sweet Tiger boy,we will miss you and I hope you have found your way to ^Dusty^.
